Trade #3 Aleister Crowley
Yes, you read that right….Aleister Crowley is going to make a visit, just in time for Halloween!
I have been exchanging emails with a guy in Chico, California, who has a rare audio recording of Aleister, reading a poem, with a spooky gothic music background.
Here’s the description…..
I have a copy of a rare voice clip that contains one of the only known recordings of Aleister Crowley (occult writer). The original recording was made around 1920 on a wax cylinder in London (it is now a .wav, easily playable on a computer). Will trade for something similar, unusual, etc.
He is sending me a copy of this on a DVD (he said the file was too big for a CD), in exchange for my gift certificate for books at fuknbooks.com!

So far, a water cooler…which I don’t know how I’d get it here…but it’s a thought…(and the person asking about it says she has a friend who’s nephew is a direct descendant of Crowley, and was even given his name!)…. a Sony CD changer (but then I found out the guy was in Canada, and we don’t think that’ll work for something that big)

Yes actually I have an awesome idea. Aleister was at an island for awhile in N.Y and I figured it would be a cool idea if I made you a wand from a tree on that Island. I would need your birthdate so I can add the correct astrological and numerological symbolism to the wand. I would also need a measurement from your elbow to the tip of your middle finger.You can read about his experience on the island in my blog and if you do not want a wand, either runes,ouija,staff,athame handle, handcrafted by me from wood on the island. May I ask what state you live in.

I’m cutting this off on Halloween. It seems somehow appropriate to end this phase of my trading jouney on Halloween night. Until then, I’ll be making copies for whoever wants this. So many seemed so interested that I just did not want to dissapoint anyone.
