All I have is my little black phone……

Date: 2006-07-11, 2:00AM EDTThis phone has served me well for many years. I was my “window to the world” for many years, as I lived in virtual isolation. Why? I was in a car wreck in 1992, which almost ended my life, and left me with just enough disabilities to hinder me, but not enough for the govt. to consider me “disabled”. Plus, I obviously had no car. So, after a failed attempt to get the car I wanted by advertising for a friend to sell his house, when he said “If you can find a buyer for my house, I will give you my Infiniti Q45″…. and, then, after many months of placing adds, making phone calls (trusty little black phone), and kissing some serious ass….I found him a buyer. Only, when I called him to tell him that, he said someone had just walked into his house to buy furniture, and then signed on buying the whole house! Needless to say, I was P.O.ed. He gave me another chance…saying he had another piece of property…just land this time, and that if I could sell THAT, I could have his car. Back to the phone calls, add running…etc. Found a buyer, and when I was sure it was gonna go through, he got pissed at the guy about something and called the whole thing off. OK…screwed twice then. Needless to say, that particular car is long gone, but my dream of my OWN Infiniti (any model, but Q45 and G35 is best) is not gone. So, since I have no money, and every attempt I make to earn money so I can buy my own car has been foiled, I’m turning to the only other option I have….trading stuff! I have my trustily little black phone, and all I want to do is trade it for something a step or two above a little black phone. I’d say I’d come to you for the trade, but, as I think you may already realize…I HAVE NO CAR! I could bum a ride off someone, but I’ve been doing that for most of my life, and it’s gotten old.
So, who wants a little black phone…? A trusty little black phone that’s sitting right next to this computer…in need of a cord…I may even have that still…in a drawer somewhere. It works just great, but you’ll need to reprogram the saved numbers on there, unless of course you want to call up some of my ex-boyfriends for a laugh or two.Ready? Set? GO!

6:21 pm1 Black Phone for a Yellow House…
1 Black Phone for a Yellow House.(only Millennium fans will get the signficance of the yellow house)I have one black phone. I want to trade it for something else, to lead me towards the house I want. I don’t know where this house is…or even if it’s Yellow yet. I just know that it exists. Either in the North Georgia mountains, or somewhere out from Athens, or even over the state line into North or South Carolina. Somewhere, there is a house… on 10+ acres, overlooking either a large pond or a small lake. It’s surrounded by trees…. and there is the potential for gardens, a horse pasture, etc. This house doesn’t have to be perfect. I’m sure not. But we both have potential.For once, I am focused. No more looking for the house someone ELSE wants, exactly where THEY want it. No more trying to sell someone ELSE’s house on a lake, which had so much more potential in it. No having to live where someone else wants to live, because it’s easier for THEM. This one is now…at last…for ME. Just like my phone.Who wants to go on this journy with me?

2:30 amHear My Black Phone Ring!!!
It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious ringing of an old phone,
Whilst flaggers bending all the rules,
To erase my daily post;
“Peace on the earth, good will to men,
Is what my phone brings as it rings!.”
The world in solemn stillness lay,
To hear the black phone ring.”I ask only for a goat with cloven hooves in trade……Or a bird with wings unfurled,”
Yet still their unjust constant flags
O’er all my weary posts!
It makes me sad that my lowly plain phone,
May never bring me hovering wing,
And ever over its Babel sounds
The old black phone still rings.Yet with the woes of sin and strife
I feel I have suffered long;
You could trade me a Millennium DVD, and right…
Two thousand years of wrong;
But man, at war with man, hears not
The love-song which I bring;
O hush the noise, and get a life
And hear my black phone ring!

And ye, just a little ways down the road,
Where farms are breeding llamas,
Who graze among the golden fields
With careful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden goats!
And birds swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside me weary as I am,
And hear the black phone ring!

For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophet-bards foretold,
When with the ever circling years
Comes round the age of gold;
When peace shall over all the earth
In another house my phone shall ring,
And the whole world send back the song
And hear the black phone ring!!!
